This is the belief at the heart of everything Crescendo does. From the very first class in 2015, our vision has been simple and radical at the same time: every child, regardless of background, deserves to grow up in a world filled with music, rhythm, and the joy of artistic expression.

We believe music doesn’t just enrich childhood… it shapes it. It builds empathy, language, confidence, and connection. And when experienced together as a family, it creates bonds that last a lifetime.

Crescendo was born in Rabat, rooted in Moroccan musical heritage, and built around a simple truth: that the best place to discover music is alongside the people you love most.

Founder & Director, Crescendo Baby Music


Laila Lebbar is a passionate music educator, mother, and cultural entrepreneur. Driven by the belief that music education is a fundamental right, she founded Crescendo Baby Music in Rabat in 2015 with a mission to make early childhood music accessible, joyful, and deeply rooted in Moroccan heritage.

Over the past decade, Laila has built Crescendo into a beloved center, a place where babies hear their first rhythms, families bond over shared melodies, and young artists discover their voice. From 2 to a team of 20, the journey continues.

March 2015

The Spark is Lit

Laila Lebbar launches Crescendo Baby Music in Morocco as a small, passionate initiative with only 2 members. The mission begins: bringing éveil musical (musical awakening) to the youngest ears.

Autumn 2018

YouTube Channel Birth

The official digital home is created, beginning the journey of sharing songs and exercises for everyone online.

2017

Crescendo launches Curtain’s Up!

A musical theater program for 8 to 16 year olds is born, expanding Crescendo’s reach beyond early childhood.

2020

Riding the Wave Online

Lockdown. Crescendo switches online, connecting with families through live sessions and interactive content. The Show Must Go On!

2022

First Podcast: Sound All Around!

Launch of the official podcast series, expanding into screen-free musical storytelling and educational content for kids 5+.

2023

Opening of Crescendo Baby Music Home

Crescendo moves into its dedicated physical space in Rabat: a permanent hub for music, theater, and dance.

2025

1st Album Released – “MIZANE”

A major milestone: the debut of the first official album, blending original compositions with revisited Moroccan children’s heritage.

From those first 2 founders, the team has officially expanded to 20 dedicated members, continuing to lead early childhood arts education in Morocco.
